We can also collect your own grab bags Local Girl Receives Prestigious Award Hannah Jenks being presented with her award by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire at the Presentation of Awards L ocal girl Cadet Sergeant Hannah Jenks has received a highly prestigious award and recognised for her outstanding contribution and commitment to the community and the Army cadet force. Hannah was educated at New Forest Academy and is currently studying at Brockenhurst College. She was chosen out of 4,000 cadets within Hampshire and the IOW. Hannah is a cadet at New Milton and Blackfield detachments and has been given the honour of escorting Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire in many of his Royal engagements as well as meeting members of the Royal Family who have visited Hampshire and the IOW. Amongst her escorting duties she was given the honour of greeting the Queen recently on her arrival at Portsmouth Harbour for the naming ceremony of the new aircraft carrier the HMS Queen Continued on page 4
