We can also collect your own grab bags 15 Marsh Parade, Hythe 023 8084 4741 FRAME SHOP HYTHE PICTURE FRAMING Celebrations at Ashdene Local businesses, Parish Councillors, representatives from Go New Forest along with Ashdene residents joined hosts, Cathy and Ian Lee on Wednesday 12th April to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their ownership of Ashdene Guest House, one of only two B & B’s in Dibden Purlieu. Drink and Canapés were served in a marquee in the garden and of course the Celebration Cake was cut with due ceremony. Friends and neighbours joined in the party atmosphere during the evening. Ian and Cathy Lee cutting their celebration cake The last 10 years have been a mixture of hard work, love and laughter for Cathy and Ian, but with the support of friends and family, Ashdene Guest House has become a home from home for their guests, many from all over the world, some, who were among their first guests, still visit yearly. It is a full-time job for them both, from early mornings to late nights, catering for their guests needs and to ensure Ashdene Guest House remains at the high standard they set themselves. Cathy has always been involved within the Hospitality and Catering business, a first rate cook who provides an excellent New Forest Breakfast; and Ian, still an engineer at heart, on retiring from the Royal Navy has certainly stepped up to the mark with his many DIY talents.
