Money was raised through the di erent Masonic Lodges covering the areas of Christchurch, Lymington, New Milton, and Ringwood. A grand total of £90,985 was raised and forwarded to good causes within the Community including the Honeypot Children’s Charity and Wessex Cancer Trust (Waterside). e proceedings were opened by Worshipful Brother Stephen Morgan and then handed over for an opening address by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Worshipful Brother Chris Lockwood. Members from each Lodge then presented a cheque to a representative from their nominated charity, and that representative gave a short presentation on what their charity was involved with. Several dignitaries were also in attendance including; e Mayor of Christchurch: Cllr Ms Vivienne Charrett and Consort Mrs Janet Johnstone, e Mayor of New Milton: Cllr David Hawkins, e Mayor of Ringwood: The charity representatives and members of Freemasonry present at the evening’s presentation Chris Lockwood the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of the South West Area, Province of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Viv Carter from the Honeypot Childrens Charity based near Exbury receiving a cheque for £500 Ann McDonald receiving the cheque for £500 from Worshipful Brother David Parfect the Worshipful Master of the Lodge (left) and Worshipful Brother Gino Cirelli the Lodge Charity Officer The Parish of Hythe will be hosting their annual Autumn Fete on Saturday 9th September at St John’s Church, New Road Hythe, 10am to 2pm.
