Peter Orr was the judge and he said he liked the lovely tones in the trees and rocks. Pete Robertson also took second place with ‘Stack Polly’ and Brian Whittaker was awarded third place for ‘Seabed Geology’ Two images by Malcolm Richardson were awarded Seals of Merit and further Seals went to images by Jackie Ridout, Steve Williams and Tim George. In the primary category, Andy Louch took rst place with ‘Steel River’ which the judge described as having lots of architectural detail, with starbursts, re ections ‘Take me to the River’. Tim George took second place with ‘Cumbrian Layers’. View nders meets most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are always welcome. Car Boot Sale Tadburn Meadows Local Nature Reserve, located in Romsey (SU367214) will be holding a Himalayan Balsam Bashing on Sunday 6th August from 10am until 12noon, meet at the entrance to the reserve at Eight Acres. Tadburn Meadows Local Nature Reserve is hidden amongst the houses and covers almost 12 acres and provides a home for a variety of Britain’s best loved wildlife and some nationally threatened species. e site boasts a variety of habitats, from a stream more characteristic of the New Forest to wet woodland and grassland.
