BUT before then there will be their usual annual exhibition in the Cros eld Hall the rst weekend of March being Saturday 2nd March and Sunday 3rd March 2024 a de nite date for the diary. ere will be 15 layouts attracting interest for all ages especially the ‘Lego’ layout modelled on Romsey Station Would you like to hold a royal python, a bearded dragon or a blue tongue skink? If so go along to Mottisfont Village Fete where Portsmouth Reptile and Amphibian Society will be bringing a variety of reptiles which you can handle. ere will also be tarantulas and invertebrates for people to look at, but these cannot be handled! As well as the reptiles there will be all the usual fete stalls including a licensed bar, delicious burgers, hot dogs and street food on sale. Have your face painted; see if you can win a coconut, children’s games, skittles, cakes and preserves on sale. Earn a certi cate for the longest runner bean or the heaviest marrow or guess the weight of the cake. e Fete wouldn’t be the same without Tony’s famous draw, with lots of prizes on o er. Romsey Ukulele Group will be performing at 2.30pm. e Fete is Sunday 13th August, 1pm to 5 pm at Mottisfont Village Hall, Hatt Hill, Mottisfont. Free entry and parking. REPTILE VISITORS TO ATTEND MOTTISFONT VILLAGE FETE! Portsmouth Reptile and Amphibian Society will be at Mottisfont Village Fete and Woodlea Castle layout with that little blue engine! e largest layout is 30 long and is entitled Ryan’s Mill a de nite for the serious modellers. Refreshments will be provided again by Lakeside Café with their excellent cakes! HYTHE OF ACTIVITY Hythe of Activity Day is taking place on Saturday 5th August, 10am to 3pm. Providing an opportunity for all the clubs, charities, social groups, societies, lunch clubs, community group, support groups to ‘set up stall’ in Hythe Village Centre to promote their activities to the community. e Community Spirit Awards will be presented during the day.
