Kerry Hitchcock, Rhonda Taylor, Debbie Bentley, Susan Lightning Smith, Barbara Von Landau and Martine Alsford held their sale at the Co ee House in Dibden Purlieu on Saturday 25th June. Alzheimer’s Research is particularly close to their hearts as some of their families have been a ected by Alzheimer’s and dementia, they raised an amazing £1010 for the charity in less than two hours! Martine comments: “I would like to thank everyone involved, the lovely and generous members of the public for buying the cakes and raffle tickets etc. Thank you to all our bakers, Beaky Blinders and Tesco at Dibden for the cakes and Vodka. Vivien Peach and Sue Jones for making teas for everyone and for being very supportive. A huge thank you for the generous donations made by Waterside Methodist Church, Claire Milgate organised a bake sale after Sunday service and raised £87, Mr and Mrs D Bentley, Mrs Chris Taylor, Mr and Mrs Farmer and Mr and Mrs Bugden.” Bake sale for Alzheimer’s Research Marchwood Village Fete will now take place on Saturday 23rd September, 12noon to 4pm at Lloyd Recreation Ground Marchwood, Southampton SO40 4XB, with a Carnival theme. New Date for Marchwood Fete ANNUAL ART SUMMER EXHIBITION Go along to St Barbe Museum in Lymington on Thursday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st August, 11am to 12.30pm for free drop in cra activities based on their Pirate exhibition. Tuesdays and Wednesdays during August St Barbe will also be hosting a range of free cra activities for all ages in Emsworth Road Park in Lymington from 11am to 3pm. e New Forest Art Society will be holding their Annual Art Summer Exhibition from Saturday 5th August to Sunday 13th August. eir next monthly meeting is on Wednesday 20th September for a Demonstration in Acrylics with Heather Joli e. New members are always welcome and visitors are invited to go along for a small entry fee. Meetings are held in the Pine Room at Lyndhurst Community Centre from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
