A daily schedule of farming activities includes kid goat and calf bottle-feeding, duck feeding, and meeting small animals such as baby chicks and guinea pigs in the brilliant Animal Encounter Barn. ere are lots of other friendly animals to see around the farm including cows, alpacas, Pygmy goats, donkeys and ponies, pigs, ducks, chickens and geese, plus lots of babies, large and small. The newly improved all-inclusive outdoor play area o ers playtime fun for all visitors. It is surrounded by an accessible path and features a wheelchair swing for all ages, and interactive playboards. Other additions include a zip wire, play tractors, and swings. Old favourites, including the trampolines and climbing frame, have been spruced up ready for a summer of fun. e Piglets Play Barn provides shelter from sun or rain and is tted with numerous interactive activities and piggy-themed fun from oor to ceiling, which will have your children squealing with delight. ere are plenty of chairs and tables for the grown-ups to put their trotters up and enjoy a drink and a tasty snack from the tearoom while they keep an eye on their little ones. Don’t miss the popular (and very bumpy!) tractor and trailer ride – there’s no extra charge (ground conditions permitting). Children will enjoy the Pitchfork and Putt crazy golf course* as well the ride-on toy tractors, go-karts, diggers*, and Go Quackers. e tearoom and kiosk, serving drinks Don’t miss the Artist’s Fairy Door trail with 25 four-foot fairy doors waiting to be discovered as you explore. From mermaids to space animals, dragons to woodland creatures, each door is unique and has been specially decorated by talented local artists. From Saturday 5th August you can enjoy lazy summer evenings watching quality outdoor theatre in the gardens as the West End actors of London Touring Players return to the gardens with Shakespeare’s Twel h Night. Expect live music and sizzling tunes for a great evening of family entertainment.
