Sadly over the past few decades their numbers have seriously declined for many reasons. So this is why a group of volunteers has set up the Marchwood Hedgehog Watch. eir aim is to help people encourage our spikey friends back into our gardens. ey have a special Hedgehog Awareness Day on Saturday 11th May at e Hub in Marchwood’s Lloyd Recreation Ground in Main Road from 10am till 2pm. You will be able to get plenty of practical advice on feeding and how to make a hedgehog house for your garden. As well as tips on how to make your garden hedgehog friendly. ere will be a ra e with the main prize a painting of a hedgehog by local artist Judy Saxby. Plus much more.
