Victor, who is a member of Southampton Athletics Club travelled to Toruń to compete in the M75 to M79 category and came 3rd in the 60 metres with a time of 9.34 seconds to take the Bronze medal. Along with his relay team, Victor won a Silver medal in the M75 4 x 200m relay race. He also came close to winning a third medal, taking 4th place in the 200 metres with a season’s best time of 32.1 seconds. e British Masters Athletics Team came 4th overall in the medals table, achieving 165 medals: 50 Gold, 62 Silver and 53 Bronze, a fantastic achievement and well deserved by the dedicated athletes ranging from 35 years all the way up to 85 years old!
