Sixty images were entered, giving the judge, Jason Hyde, a busy evening. e ‘Leading Lines’ theme was for printed images and Terry Jamieson’s entry ‘Handrails’ was chosen as the winner. Terry also took second place with ‘Exit’ and third place went to ‘Eilean Donan Bridge’ by Pete Robertson. Seals of Merit were awarded for images by Roy Lambeth DPAGB, EFIAP and Louise Sampson. In the projected digital image category on the ‘Urban Landscape’ theme, Hilary Henery was awarded the trophy for her image ‘Venetian Backwater’. Second place went to Ali Johnston for ‘Concrete Spaces’ and third place to Jackie Ridout for ‘Life in the Fast Lane’. Jackie also received a Seal of Merit, as did Tim George, Lynne Lambeth ‘Handrails’ – Terry Jamieson, Les Frederick Trophy winner in the print category ‘Venetian Backwater’ – Hilary Henery, Les Frederick Trophy winner in the PDI category ‘Tulips’ – Louise Sampson, Whitemore Trophy winner Left to Right: Hilary Henery and Jason Hyde (judge) Louise Sampson CPAGB, APAGB and Gerald Ponting. A week later and it was the Whitemore Trophy. is was open to any photographic format but the requirement was that images had to be ‘creative’. Rather than having an external judge, club members voted for their favourite entries and the winner was Louise Sampson with ‘Tulips’. Close behind in second place was Lizzie Dutfield with ‘Little Feet’ and third was ‘String Quartet’ by Terry Jamieson. View nders meets most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are always welcome.
