Langley Hub is a group of friendly residents who meet at the Langley Tavern, each Tuesday evening, at 7pm. It is a great way to meet neighbours and to participate in community events. Since our news item appeared in the last edition of e Herald (issue 459), we are excited to announce that we now have a logo, a new email address (langleyhubnewforest@ gmail.com) and we are constructing a new website (www.langleyhub.co.uk). Do please have a look or, better still, come and join us! Simon Chadwick used his West Common to the bus stop on Lepe Road. You may have noticed that a super new bench, commemorating D-Day, has been installed. We had approached Fawley Parish Council to ask if we could mend the old bench that was unusable and were delighted to be told that the Council would investigate a replacement. We think you will agree that the new bench is a wonderful addition to Langley. Thank you to Fawley Parish Council. expertise to guide us and then helped us to create our logo. We have been very fortunate in having the logo funded by Culture in Common, the Creative People and Places programme for the New Forest, funded by the Arts Council, England. www. cultureincommon.co.uk We have been keen to start tidying Langley and, as previously reported, have cleared the foot path from New bench BE A VOLUNTEER!
