From 25th–31st October, passengers will board the Rhododendron Line for a 30-minute immersive adventure lled with thrills, laughs, terrible puns and a few surprises along the way. e ghost of Ricardo the Ringmaster needs passengers’ help to break the curse hanging over his haunted circus. Expect to jump, scream, laugh and groan as Exbury’s steam train becomes a joke- lled ‘loco-motive’ journey through the supernatural. Part ghost story and part scary pantomime, the experience promises plenty of audience participation and family-friendly frights. e Halloween fun continues elsewhere in the world famous 200-acre woodland gardens, with pumpkin carving and creepy cra workshops running throughout half-term. Families can also follow a Halloween trail discovering witches, gravestones and creepy corners along the way. Visitors who prefer nature to the supernatural can enjoy Exbury at one of its most colourful times of year. e gardens will be ablaze with ery acers, dogwoods and majestic oaks, alongside Exbury’s National Collection of Nyssa trees. Using a oral foam sphere they added roses, small head chrysanthemums, statis and hypericum berries. ere was plenty of foliage to use, which was Myrtle and Dill. A fun and very relaxing evening which produced some lovely arrangements. ey meet on the second Thursday of the month and their next two meetings are on 10th September and 8th October when they have a social evening and Demonstration respectively.
