In addition to those they made for themselves, members were asked to make an additional 40 crowns for the lady golfers at Amp eld Golf Club - and they accepted and met the challenge! is year’s Ladies Captain, Barbara Lynch, has chosen ‘Greenbuttercup Dementia Services’ and ‘Romsey Dementia Action Group’ as her charities. For her Ladies Captain Day on 6th June she arranged a fun gol ng day with penalties for going into a bunker, hitting a tree etc. - all whilst wearing crowns. e ladies looked amazing in their crowns and raised a wonderful £409 to be split between the charities. Waterside & Totton Good Neighbours and Befriending Service The Waterside & Totton Good Neighbours and Befriending comes under the umbrella of Age Concern New Forest. e service o ers local people neighbourly help with a wide range of basic tasks that can make a huge di erence to an older person who is otherwise vulnerable or socially isolated. With their small team of volunteers they support and help to enable and maintain independence.
