Art therapy is a technique used to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals living with dementia. Whilst many people with the disease lose some aspects of their communication skills, art therapy allows them to express themselves in a more creative way. e home cares for people living with dementia in its Memory Lane Communities – unique environments, designed to encourage active and enjoyable living. The person-centred care provided in these communities can bring out the best in those who live there and o er muchneeded quality care to the wider community.
