Postponed from earlier in the month due to the wet conditions, the course had recovered considerably and all 18 holes were in play. Chris Bennett won the Division 1 medal just 1 ahead of Chris Angell. In Division 2, Wayne Niles won with nett 67, 3 strokes in front of Gill Wright. Nearest the pin on the 13th was won by Ross Matthews. Division 1: 1st Chris Bennett – nett 69, 2nd Chris Angell – nett 70, 3rd Laurie Burn – nett 72 (back 9=30), 4th Roy Nelson – nett 72 (back 9=32). New Forest Art Society will be holding their Summer Exhibition from Saturday 3rd August - Sunday 11th August. New members are always welcome and visitors are invited to go along for a small entry fee. Meetings are held in the Pine Room at Lyndhurst Community Centre from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
