In Division 1, Phil Walker just inched ahead of Dale Bruce by 2 strokes on countback.  e Division 2 contest was far more convincing, Terry Jones’ nett 63 putting him 7 shots ahead of his nearest rival. Harry Young Cup: 1st Laurie Burn 76 gross, 2nd Steve Duckett 78 gross, Division 1: 1st Phil Walker 67 nett (31 back Laurie Burn with the Harry Young Cup 9), 2nd Dale Bruce 67 nett (33 back 9), 3rd Ken Scott 68 nett, Division 2: 1st Terry Jones 63 nett, 2nd Dave Barrett 70 nett, 3rd Ted Groves 72 nett (31 back 9), (Berry Money also had 72 nett but 32 on the back 9).
