Representing more than twenty shipping companies from around the port, the Southampton Shipowners Association is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. Regular meetings and events provide the local marine community with the opportunity to inform and in uence the operation of the port to the bene t of stakeholders and the economy of the region. The Association’s recent charity ball was attended by 130 guests and raised £3,600 for the Southampton Sea Cadets and the Portsmouth Sail Training Trust.
