In 2022 they opened their workshop o ering the full range of mechanical repairs and employed Drew Venables from Balmer Lawn Honda and Dean and Jen White have been running Compuco Ltd in Black eld since they acquired the business in 2006 and have built up their family business, serving the local community with all their computing needs ever since. Compuco Ltd o er a range of services including the repair and upgrade of laptops and PCs, they are also an Express Centre for Epson printers, xing printers that are still under warranty. Dean is extremely knowledgeable and there aren’t many repairs that he cannot complete, however if he isn’t able to repair your computer Compuco Ltd may only charge a small amount to cover their time. ey work closely with other IT specialists in the local area, so they can o en refer you to an alternative repairer who can help. As well as repairing computers Compuco Ltd can also build bespoke computers to t your needs whether you are looking for an o ce system or a gaming PC, Dean is well respected for his computer building skills; with many customers travelling many miles just to use Compuco Ltd. Dean and Jen pride themselves on providing a friendly and knowledgeable service, which was recently recognised, when they were presented with an award through the Shop Doctor programme from NFDC, which rated Compuco Ltd as Excellent for customer service. In the shop Dean and Jen stock a wide range of computing accessories including replacement cables, mice and mouse pads, USB sticks and memory changing, Compuco Ltd are working in partnership with VoIP to help people and businesses to make the move across to internet phones. Dean and Jen feel passionately about supporting the local community; to keep everyone amused during lockdown they ran competitions to nd Mini Dean and Jen hidden in the shop via their Facebook page, giving out prizes along the way, look out for Dean’s Lego creations in the shop windows at Christmas! ey have also donated many refurbished laptops to local charities and when they upgraded their CCTV equipment they donated their old system to the local Scout Hut.
