An independent, family run care agency, Waterside Homecare Services Ltd provide a full range of homecare services that are personalised to each client, supporting and assisting them to continue to live independently in their own homes. Services include personal care, food and uid preparation, medication management, shopping services, Doctor Appointments, hospital escorts, sit in services, overnight care and end of life care. All sta have signi cant experience within the care industry and are trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, as well as quali cations in moving and handling, personal care, food hygiene, emergency aid, infection control and dementia awareness. Waterside Homecare Services Ltd moved into e Old Bank in April, coordinating their team of carers from the new o ce space as well as introducing a new community focused social centre bringing people together and helping to reduce loneliness. e Old Bank Social Centre provides a welcoming space where Waterside Homecare’s experienced care team run a variety of sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays, 12noon – 3pm. e sessions o er a range of activities including board games, cinema sessions, arts and cra s, quizzes, bingo, sit t, days out and many more. Lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the sessions. Transport to and from the sessions, with one of the care team, can also be arranged for an additional cost. Activities are planned throughout the year including arts and cra s, entertainment and games. Hythe Huddle sessions also provide advice, community and support. eir next meeting is on Wednesday 3rd July and Wednesday 7th August. Refreshments are available, kindly donated by Tesco.
